Thad Matta continued to add to his class of 2010 recruiting class today, as Lenzelle Smith Jr. committed to the Buckeyes earlier today. Smith is a 6′3″ combo guard out of Zion-Benton High School in the Chicago area, who averaged around 14 points and 7 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season.
Smith was highly recruited by the Buckeye staff and willl join Jared Sullinger, DeShaun Thomas, Cameron Wright, and Jordan Sibert in the class. Smith can play both point and shooting guard, and his addition ultimately eliminates another Chicago product, Whitney Young guard Anthony Johnson, from the Ohio State recruiting picture. Look for the Bucks to complete this class with a big man, with their top target now, Adreian Payne from Dayton Jefferson High School. Payne, a teammate of Sibert and Sullinger on the All-Ohio Red AAU team, became the Bucks’ top big-man target after Virginia’s Josh Hairston recently committed to Duke.

I really think BJ Mullens has a chance to be a special player. I hope he has been hitting the weight room hardcore because they love to bang in the big ten(wisconsin aka dirty mofo’s)
