The day that 50,000+ people have been waiting for has finally arrived. As of yesterday, August 13, OSU Student Football tickets were available to be picked up at the OSU Ticket Office, located in the Jerome Schottenstein Center. Season tickets can only be picked up if Autumn Quarter fees are paid in full, but don’t get down on yourself if your fees aren’t paid yet. You can still pick up tickets to the “pre-season” games, including Youngstown State, Ohio University, the away game at USC (if you were lucky enough to get a ticket to that game), and Troy University, as long as you are enrolled for fall quarter.

It will certainly be interesting in The ‘Shoe this year, as there have been a few slight adjustments to student seating, specifically the addition of a “Block O” section in the north endzone to compliment the one that was already placed in the south endzone. Slightly more student tickets were made available this year, compared to years past, but this year’s season plan does not include a non-conference game, unlike last year, where Kent State was included in the package. The lines shouldn’t be too bad to pick up the tickets now, but I would definitely go before August 30th, if you plan to be in town for the first game, as lines will be the longest of the season on gameday and could cause you to miss kick-off. Who wants to miss Brandon Saine take it back on the first play of the season? This guy is headed to the Schott as we speak.
