Once again, Ohio State will adorn the cover of Sports Illustrated’s College Football Preview on stands later this week. Ohio State will be one of five schools (Georgia, USC, Missouri, and Florida are the others) to be on the cover and it will distributed regionally.
SI’s Preseason Rankings:
1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. USC
4. Missouri
5. Florida
6. Oklahoma
7. Auburn
8. Texas Tech
9. LSU
10. Wisconsin
It’s kind of a different look as James, Beanie, and Todd are sporting Ohio State’s visiting white instead of the home Scarlets. I would have gone with another pose too as Todd looks awkward and uncomfortable sitting on that helmet. They at least could have had them stand up like Georgia, USC, Missouri, and Florida did in the fold out.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackyeah, I wish todd wasn’t sitting down and I wish they wore the home jerseys. OSU definitely has the worst cover.
I think all the regional covers included the players being subjected to that awkward helmet-squat stance, with the other four teams in the standard 3 person stance on the fold-out. See http://www.conquestchronicles.com/2008/8/5/587515/the-si-regional-cover-is-o

Yes I know they all were subjected to it but I was saying they should have the standing pose as the cover shot instead of the Todd sitting on the helmet, which they could have put in the fold out.
Kind of like the 06 SI Cover with T Smith, Downing, & Datish:

Sprayfart on all other teams, UGA will go undefeated and win it all….get ready ladies!
