Lamaar “Flash” Thomas, the fast wide receiver from Ft. Washington (Maryland) Friendly, who will be an incoming freshman at OSU, has switched his number to #7 following the departure of Antonio Henton. The 5-11, 183 lb, speedster who runs a 4.33 40 looks to get some playing time this fall and help bring some serious speed to the field this fall. OSU will look to disprove that the Big 10 is slow myth and there will be no better way of doing that than to keep hauling in burners in each recruiting class. Too bad the only way to disprove it will to beat a SEC team on the field and a perfect time to do it is in Miami at the National Championship in January.
Nice tattoos Flash and it looks like we can put that Terrelle Pryor to the #7 rumor to bed as it looks like he will stick with the #2 jersey for at least this year.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThat is badass!! I love the speed we have coming in. Even our white wr’s run a 4.4. Soon they will be saying the sec is slow. Stoneburner, Posey, Thomas, Saine, Washington, Robo, Hartline, and beanie…Not to mention T. Pryor this team is loaded on both sides of the ball, but any team that can pound the ball or spread you out is very dangerous. This team will be like 06′ except now beanie is the featured back surrounded by even more talent than Ginn and Gonzo.
Is it Sept. yet?
No way that tat is real. That shit looks TERRIBLE.
The electrifying number 7!
(we can only hope)
It’s probably like a camera phone picture baaaa
I hope that Lamaar has a big year. It’s tough for true freshmen to see much of the field though.
TampaBuckeye: I like the players you’ve named, but Dane Sanzenbacher is one of the fastest white dudes I’ve ever seen(saw him run track in high school, and he blew everyone away in the 400 meter), and the kid can catch a football(he caught the first TD pass last year vs. YSU). He has great hands, he’s smart and could really be the next Gonzo, if Tressel will give him more playing time. His only down side is his lack of NFL size.
Corey,
When are we going to get down to the real pressing issues…like should be doing domestic offshore drilling?

EZ,
you are gay.
I too am anxious to see some of this new infusion of “speed” on the field. Tressel needs to get Pryor and company on the field a little this year.
[…] ourselves in anyone great’s class; just consider us Lamaar Thomas, and we’re about to officially don the #7. We’ll close by admitting our open jealousy of how awesome and user friendly a vehicle ATO […]
