Michigan running back, Kevin Grady, was arrested early this morning (July 2nd) for driving while impaired (DWI). The incident took place in Wyoming, Michigan near Ann Arbor. Arraignment is scheduled for July 9th.
Grady had implications of becoming a starting running back (sharing time with Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown amongst others) after recovering from an ACL tear last year.
This is the first arrest (first of many to come, we assume) for Michigan Football under new Head Coach Rich Rodriguez, so it will be interesting to see how he deals with troublesome athletes.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackDon’t look now Michigan, but it has begun.
At least he wasn’t making it rain.
What happened to this guy, anyway? I remember him playing in Hart’s stead in the ‘05 edition of The Game but I don’t think he’s seen the field much, if at all, since then.
As the article states, poguemahone, Grady tore his ACL.
I read in the Detroit Free Press that he was arrested near Grand Rapids, not A-squared.
Not that it matters much. He’ll get a slap on the wrist and be good to go for UM. Mark it down. That’s how they handle problem kids there.
*Cough* Eugene Clifford *Cough*
When you live in a glass house..
I heard the kid got pulled over in a $40k automobile. Now please tell me how could a college athlete afford that ride? That must be why michigan sucks so bad they don’t know how to spend their money.
Eugene Clifford will be kicked off the team. Mark it down. This is his second infraction.
But still not as bad as Adrian Arrington getting drunk, beating up his girlfriend, stealing her car and then refusing to pull over(at first) for Ypsilanti Police.
And Adrian didn’t miss one game(I”m going to miss LLLoyd).
Hammer32, you ought to do something about that cough. Try a Riccola!
