Here are some rumblings about your Buckeyes that have been floating around town this weekend:

• Is Heinygate done at OSU? I sure hope thr rumor is not true….while north campus certainly needs to continue to go more like south campus (the gateway is god!), I don’t like the idea of taking away one of OSU’s hottest tailgating spots on football Saturday’s…..let’s hope this is just nonsense
• On the recruiting front, it seems two Buckeye targets will make their decisions soon….Tahj Boyd visited Clemson last week and has a final three of the Tigers, OSU, and Oregon….I think he will end up at Clemson due to the chance to play early and location. Wouldn’t be a HUGE loss for the Bucks, but Boyd is going to be real good. Boyd should announce tomorrow or Sunday. Another Buckeye target expected to announce this week is Marcus Hall. Hall is visiting Miami this weekend and said an announcement should come soon after. All bets are on the Bucks here and landing Hall would give OSU some nice depth at OL next year.
• Other Buckeye targets remaining are Marlon Brown, Morgan Moses, Austin Boucher, and Darren Myles Jr. Myles is a long shot, while Moses probably will not happen if Hall commits. Austin Boucher is an insurance policy if Tahj Boyd chooses Clemson or Oregon, but Marlon Brown loves OSU and TP. Is it enough to convince him to spurn Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Florida? Only time will tell, but this kid has a chance to make a impact as a true freshman.
• The Buckeye hoopsters take on #7 MSU on Sunday at 3:45 at the Schott. MSU lost to Northwestern on Wednesday night and should be hungry to get a W. The Bucks should as well after and embarrassing loss to Bruce Weber’s squad, but who knows with this Buckeyes squad…..stay tuned to DTI for our preview of the MSU game tomorrow…..
