The Buckeyes started slow, trailing 39-37 at halftime, but picked up the slack and outscored the Indiana Hoosiers 56 to 42 in the second half to cruise to a 93-81 victory in Bloomington.

It was a four man show for OSU, as Evan Turner (29), Jon Diebler (21), William Buford (24), and Jeremie Simmons (17) scored all but two points for the Scarlet and Gray (PJ Hill had the other two) en route to their fifteenth win of the season, fifth in the conference. Indiana on the other hand fell to 5-15 overall and 0-8 in the Big Ten on the season. Matt Roth kept the Hoosiers in the game, hitting 9 of 11 shots from behind the three-point line, but the freshman from Washington, Illinois just couldn’t do enough by himself to stop the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes still have a long way to go to secure a spot in the NCAA tournament, including working on their consistency on the offensive end, closing up their match-up zone defense, working on their rebounding, and limiting turnovers. Nonetheless, I am very happy with the way we adjusted and played in the second half. We have Purdue at home on Tuesday (7 P.M., ESPN), which will be a huge test for this team. For now, enjoy the win and have a good rest of the weekend. Get ready for the Super Bowl tomorrow and root for Santonio. Good night and Go Bucks!
