After almost a month of football it seems as though #14 Ohio State has finally found the ingredients to the sweet tasting Buckeye victory brew. With the Big Ten season opening up against a much improved Minnesota squad from the year prior, a lackluster performance could have spelled disaster for the Buckeyes. However, with the […]

As I saw the AP Rankings come out yesterday, I was a little shocked to see the Buckeyes remain at #14 in the poll. With a 34-21 victory over Minnesota, in which the score was certainly not an indication of how badly we beat them, I figured the Bucks would jump to somewhere between 10-12, […]

Thad Matta continued to add to his class of 2010 recruiting class today, as Lenzelle Smith Jr. committed to the Buckeyes earlier today. Smith is a 6′3″ combo guard out of Zion-Benton High School in the Chicago area, who averaged around 14 points and 7 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season.

When I say “unfortunate”, I do not mean “unlucky or regrettable,” as my peers and I have been […]

Â
Jim Tressel just told the media this at the team walkthrough in the Coliseum:
“He would cut his foot off for these guys, but I just don’t think as I listen to the medical people it would be the right thing to do…I’m not sure he’ll ever speak to me again, but I think it’s the […]

75 percent?
Scratch that.
Jim Tressel updated the status of Beanie Wells earlier today as “doubtful” for the game Saturday shortly before he jetted of to L.A.
“We were hoping he’d wake up this morning and feel even better than yesterday…But it didn’t happen. We’ll see from here.”
Tressel didn’t rule out the possibility of Wells seeing the field […]
